The story
THE BRIEF
Youssouf Touré is an FJM-certified massage therapist running a solo wellness practice out of Outremont. He offers Swedish massage, reflexology, and hijama cupping — a traditional therapy that still carries a layer of unfamiliarity for a mainstream Montréal audience. He didn’t need a brochure; he needed a credible, bilingual home that would attract the right clients, explain the work, and get him on the calendar.
Our brief: build the clinic’s digital presence from scratch — brand, voice, catalogue, booking surface and content system — so the practice reads as serious, warm, and ready for appointment.
THE APPROACH
The identity leans editorial and sober: warm neutrals, generous white space, photography-first layouts, numbered sections, and a serif-forward typography system that signals craft and care. Each treatment gets its own narrative tile — “Release tension, breathe differently” for Swedish massage, “Drain, release, a millennia-old tradition” for hijama — so the catalogue teaches as much as it sells.
A dark deep-green editorial block anchors the brand belief: “The body knows. Our work: giving it the conditions to heal.” A credentials-forward practitioner card introduces Youssouf with his FJM certification, lifestyle portraits, and a short bio. Reviews and a 4.9-star aggregate ride directly beneath, with a soft 10-plus-years / 3,000-plus-sessions / 78%-return stat strip underneath for scanners. The entire site ships bilingual EN/FR, with a CMS Youssouf can run himself to add seasonal treatments or new review quotes.
WHAT CHANGED
The site works as a trust engine. First-time visitors land on a quiet, confident hero, understand the practice in less than a minute, see the credentials and reviews that matter, and reach the booking surface without friction. New treatment narratives can go live without touching code. The clinic no longer competes on price in a crowded Google Maps list — it competes on the editorial clarity of its own window.
